Voss Environmental Fellows (previously known as Brown Environmental Fellows) is a different kind of summer research experience that introduces undergraduate environmental scientists to the dynamic interface between environmental science, policy, and practice. Student-faculty-practitioner teams develop research projects to meet shared objectives – directing scientific discovery into channels that will inform current and future management choices.
A distinctive component of the program is a shared senior seminar, which builds communication, leadership and engagement skills, and provides a broader perspective on the challenges of understanding global environmental change and the search for solutions.
